Hello, my name is Hannah and I was a Skyrim junkie.
I loved Skyrim and used to play it as often as I could. So when I saw the trailer for The Elder Scrolls Online - I was in! We traded in our beautiful Playstation 3 for a slightly used Playstation 4 while I was still pregnant.
I hated it at first. The online player aspect was new to me as a video game enthusiast. I felt very dumb, overwhelmed, limited and like I had made a huge mistake.
And then I gave birth. Talk about a reality check.
I decided to give ESO another go - but this time without the expectations of it increasing my Skyrim high. This time I would play it and take it for what it was - a lot like motherhood.
Now - it is my escapism during nap time(s). I actually enjoy the online community aspect of it as a new mother who feels a little isolated. I also enjoy just sinking into a new quest / new character and not thinking about 1,000 real life problems.
It really took an epic game to another level.
So if you are also a fan, we may cross paths online (sorry I won't reveal my online avatar, ain't nobody got time for trolling)!
And if it is the weekend, maybe just maybe I will be breastfeeding my daughter whilst exploring Tamriel.
Not an instructional blog but the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth - so help me Mom.
