I have decided to keep track of items, things, blogs, habits, media, etcetera, that have helped me or are helping me stay sane on this journey in motherhood. All right, let us start from the beginning as it's the very best place to start (*whispers Sound of Music in a deep voice*).
During pregnancy I suffered from hip pain which peaked during the night time. We made this purchase in the hopes of it easing or alleviating my hip pain and knowing we could use it for numerous things afterwards.
The Donut Breastfeeding Pillow by Dreamgenii is shaped more like a crescent roll than a doughnut but boy has it been handy! I have used it as knee support and for propping myself up gently to read while pregnant. Post-pregnancy I used it to sit on the first few weeks which was necessary for my tender areas. Later I used it to breastfeed and my husband has used it for bottle feeds. Now we are using it to prop the little one up as she is learning to hold the bottle for the first AS well as helping ease her congestion when she got her first cold.
If that ain't bang for your buck (or in this case dosh) - I don't know what is! I highly recommend getting yourself a breastfeeding support pillow like the one by Dreamgenii even if you are not planning on breastfeeding. They really are a Sanity Saver!
